Which panel should you choose?
The 485W panel produces more from the same roof area, and its black frame and cells suit roofs where looks matter. It also has a longer 30-year power warranty and costs less per panel (€95 instead of €189).
How many solar panels does a house need?
Divide the system size you want by the panel power. A 5 kW system needs about 11–12 panels of 450W or 10–11 of 485W. Roof size, orientation and grid connection decide the rest. The panels work with a hybrid inverter and a home battery, and the solar calculator works out the number for your usage.
