Why LiFePO4?

LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) is now the chemistry in most home batteries: it is thermally stable and handles thousands of charge cycles. In Lithuania, the 2025–2026 APVA call paid more for a solar system with a LiFePO4 battery (€5,012) than with another lithium-ion battery (€4,572). Current rules are at apva.lrv.lt.

Is a home battery worth it in 2026?

In Lithuania, storing electricity in the grid costs more since 1 January 2026 (ESO), so every kWh you use yourself is worth more. A battery helps most when your system may export only 1 kW and you produce more during the day than you use. The full calculation is in our guide Is a home battery worth it?

Is 10 kWh enough?

Start from how much electricity you use between sunset and sunrise. The battery works with a hybrid inverter, and you’ll find both, together with panels, on the solar kit with battery page.

Frequently asked questions

How many cycles does the battery last?

This 10 kWh LiFePO4 battery is rated for 6000+ charge cycles and comes with a 10-year warranty.

Does the battery work without a hybrid inverter?

The hybrid inverter charges and discharges the battery, so you need both. Our 5 kW hybrid inverter works with it.

Is there a grant for a home battery?

In Lithuania, APVA calls open and close. APVA decides whether a battery meets the rules of the call that is open at the time; see apva.lrv.lt.

How long does delivery take?

We ship from our EU warehouse in 3–5 working days.

What battery size do you need?

Send us your yearly electricity use and we’ll size the battery and the whole system for free.
